Wholefood Living...

An embattled mother caring for four who had already succumb to the post nasal drip syndrome, I waged a war in high pursuit of the culprit.  Utilizing an anti-cold defense arsenal of nasal spray and armed with ginger root concoctions allowed me a temporary reprieve.  For weeks I'd single highhandedly warded off an agent of the stuffy-head-and-runny nose cold regime, however these concoctions caused my nursing 17 month to suffer unintended consequences, forcing me to retreat.  Sunday Night, despite my attempt to retool  I found myself desperate for sleep and exhausted with an advancing enemy...I woke up with symptoms of defeat.

Now I'm one of  six recovering victims in a household of seven.   The worst part is over and I intend to get much needed rest and take the utmost care this weekend to Get Back to Green.   That is our clean eating and whole lifestyle.   I am convinced that changing our diet these past three years have been our antidote to the common cold.  People are alarmed to find that we haven't carried health insurance in the past five years, they are extremely skeptical when I tell them each year we focused on the Wholefood diet by reducing processed meat consumption, eliminating sugar and high fructose corn syrup soft drink products, and replacing them with quality organic live fruits and vegetables.processed meat, aging and disease and unhealthy lifestyle choices visited our over the past four year have only been for Well Visits.  aways ask me how does a family of seven
